COOL SHIRTS BUYING GUIDES / Work & Trades
Choosing a veterinary shirt for the right role
A veterinary gift can be warm and specific without making assumptions about the recipient’s work. Start with their title and the animals they work with. A small detail connected to that role can make a design feel more considered.
Confirm the title
Veterinarian, veterinary technician and other veterinary roles should not be used interchangeably. Follow the wording the recipient uses, including any local title differences. If you are unsure, choose a broader veterinary-team or animal-care theme rather than printing a qualification you have not confirmed.
Look beyond dogs and cats
The recipient may work with horses, farm animals or a wider range of species. A gift can reflect that interest through an original animal illustration or a simple group scene. If the design includes several animals, make sure the layout stays clear instead of shrinking every element to fit.
Choose an off-duty tone
Humor about a familiar animal habit can be enjoyable without referring to distressing cases or making jokes about owners. Consider where the shirt will be worn and how well you know the recipient. Read the actual garment details for fit and care, and check workplace requirements separately if the wearer plans to use it on duty.
